Led by Julian Brinton the Wool Classics team have a wide range of experience in the interior and soft floorcovering market. With decades of experience and a fun team we believe in the personal touch and want to make the selection of floorcovering enjoyable and easy.
Julian is the Managing Director of Wool Classics and has been a leading figure in the global interior design industry for over 25 years. He started with Brintons Carpets where he carpeted many of the world’s most famous buildings from several royal palaces to the Kremlin, The White House to Sydney Opera House and many of the world’s leading hotels. Julian still enjoys the creative process of creating carpet and rug designs from a plethora of different ideas. Julian served on the Board of several industry bodies such as the British Institute of Interior Design and the Society of British Interior Design and recently retired from the position of President of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality in the UK. He was the first man ever to hold this position as until recent years it was an exclusively female domain. Julian also lectures on carpet and floor-coverings at many of the leading colleges and universities around the world (Currently KLC Shool of Design).
In his spare time Julian collects and restores classic and vintage cars and helps run his family’s farms in Herefordshire and the South of France. He also runs a highly successful shoot on the Pudleston Estate, so feel free to book a day shooting with him when you order your new rug!
