The design process we go through to create carpets is sometime eclectic. Some were created over a glass of wine while others were an early morning coffee. Utopia was created in a small shed in Bhadohi while training weavers on a simple weaving technique using scrap yarn. Some wonderful home cooking and before we knew it we had a selection of simple but beautiful patterns which have proved popular ever since. If you can't find the colour you want no worries we make it any colour imaginable although bear in mind the dye process involves vegetable dyes cooked up in a giant sauce pan, so do not expect perfect colour matching every time. This is an artesian carpet made slowly by hand and has character more than perfection.
